Vito Marence  (born 1982, Ljubljana - Slovenia ) started playing guitar at the age of nine. 

He studied classical guitar in Ljubljana and won the competitions as a classical guitarist in Slovenia and Italy at young age.

During the time of 10 years - classical guitar studies, he got inspired by his musical family through studying Jazz at  high school for music in Ljubljana.

In his compositions, Vito started to combine elements of Jazz within the Classical guitar technique, until he discovered Flamenco music style. That was the reason to move to Holland - Rotterdam, where he studied Flamenco guitar by famous Flamenco guitarist, maesto Paco Peña. He formed a group together with spanish musicians, named Meriendacena and started to perform at many music festivals in Holland and  Spain.

Nowadays Vito Marence lives and creates in Slovenia - Ljubljana, where he formed a five members group -  VITO MARENCE FLAMENCO GROUP. 

 

He promotes his unique music and his compositions worldwide as an independent artist -  VITO MARENCE FLAMENCO (DUO, TRIO, QUARTET and GROUP).

The music of Vito Marence represents a unique Flamenco tradition, combined and inspired by his life.  The open - minded composer and guitarist has been keeping the essence of Flamenco as closed and at the same time open art form, influenced by Classical, Jazz, Latin, Indian classical and Arabian music styles melted within the Flamenco music - contemporary dance.
